Thank you Bobby Darin & Rod Stewart

Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waiting for me
My lover stands on golden sands
And watches the ships that go sailin

Somewhere beyond the sea
He's there watching for me
If I could fly like birds on high
Then straight to his arms
I'd go sailin

Its far beyond the stars
Its far beyond the moon
I know with out a doubt
My heart will lead me there soon

We'll meet beyond the shore
We'll kiss just as before
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
And never again I'll go sailin

See you on the shore soon Sailor Teddy

All My Love & Happy New Year

Five of Wands

Pulled twice in a row today. Why do I do that.......I know better.

Well it certainly depicts my day full of tension due to people acting childish and demanding attention at any costs. I was thinking of someone else when I pulled it yet again, and I hope they are not going into a stressful situation like I had today.

Five of wands can mean conflict, arguments, or competition.

Please remember if you truly love someone acting petty, cold or heartless will only drive them away so be careful what you wish for.

I do not ever wish for my heart to be a game piece nor will I do that to the one I love.

Knight of Wands

Ok pulled it twice in a row.
This is a fiery man of action.
Expect things to move forward swiftly.
Expect wishes and desires to come to fruition.
He is worldly, a global force to be reckoned with.

Couples cards

8 of Pentacles Male

9 of Pentacles Female

This shows a man who is busy building a business.
He is solid and trustworthy (see the foot on the ground=grounded)
and the benefits are beginning to pile up. He is a very focused hard worker.

The female in this relationship has a real chance now to hit a home run. If she will focus on what she really wants and not what others want from her, she can realize all her dreams of love and financial stability, even great wealth, however it may come from an unlikely source.

These two appear to be very different but in so many ways so very much like.
Hope they visit this reading years from now and smile.

I would have found you sooner
So I could love you longer

Full Moon Tonight

Hunters Moon with Eclipse

Two cards are pictured, two views of Bella Luna, as I pulled the Moon card twice in a row, yes we get the angels are saying getting over it, this is the card of the day stop testing us.

One can make full use of this time of openness in the nocturne to allow messages to flow more freely.
I sleep poorly on a full moon, and when I do I am usually saying "what was that" the next day. I have learned to keep a journal :).

Tonight's Hunters Moon will have the added bonus of an eclipse that gives the moon a 3-d effect and I am sure more bells and whistles in the dream department.

The first card/depiction reminds us to let go with the flow and allow long lost or past loves to connect and find us in the dancing light of the moon. This woman is still a bit unsure, she is covering herself yet wants to yield to her lover, she sees the imperfections, to him she is all consuming and he sees her through the eyes of love.

The next illustration of the Moon shows a bit more drama, with the moon and the water, which is always a factor in moon lore, as without the moon we would not have the ocean tides. The traditional Rider Waite deck shows a crayfish and dogs howling, a bit too Edgar Allan Poe for me.

Moon and tide, will pull on us all extra today. Think, was today a bit of a squirrel for you? Don't feel alone, it was all over. It will pass. Write down your dreams tonight.

The Lovers

Card of the day, The Lovers, many symbols here representing infinity, meaning this is your true love, soul mate, bound together over oceans of time and space. Always feeling the presence of each other, and safely carried by my lovers wing to a place of peace.

Eight of Wands

Eight of Wands

This card has shown up about 6 times in a row. It means things accelerating forward, and more rapid than you thought. Things that have been set in motion are all moving in sync.  To those of us with so many irons in the fire, it can be a bit disconcerting, too much too soon perhaps.

Moving forward, moving towards goals but never forgetting love, happiness & health are the greatest gifts of all.

Ten of Swords

Ten of Swords

Not exactly the card of choice prior to a visit to a surgeon.  The man in the card has had all he can take and appears to have given up. Some readers refer to the sun coming up in the background as a "sign of hope" but it looks like the sun setting, not rising to me. A rather sad ominous card to be sure. It can also mean running on empty, out of options, hitting rock bottom/great loss.

Between Heaven & Earth

For now I choose to reside halfway between Heaven & Earth. I have to rise above or distance myself from hurt and evil, which seems to be appearing even in the most peaceful places that used to bring healing calm.

I still have that beautiful conch shell to remind me it used to be my home and think a retreat there is needed, as loved ones and odd acquaintances all seemed to have a heavy vibration currently and are causing great pain to those they supposedly care the most for.

Three of Wands

Waiting for your ship to come in? It's here. Three of wands is an upbeat card, if you have contracts, legal issues, this card is in your corner. You might need to follow up on a few things you have placed on the back burner, but you have lots of support and sucess is on the way.

Ten of Cups

One of the very best cards in the deck, it usually shows a rainbow over a happy embracing couple with children dancing, water flows, home and lands/lush gardens in the background, meaning the best of everything, peace, love, happiness, heck this card could be an old hippie.

I like the image posted, shows a couple who are bound together, secure (hugging the tree, still old hippie) surrounded by love an majic, abundance from the Tree of Life that ties it all together.

The King of Wands

Why you welcome little ray of sunshine, after so many bleak cards here is the man of the hour. The King of Wands is a very positive card, he is on the lighter side of life, and if you are seeking improvment in areas of concern, he is the man for you.

Love, health and finances are his strengths, he is very powerful and protective, what a girl wants what a girl needs.............

When this gorgeous man appears look for things to take an upwards turn, all for the better.

3 Card Reading

Ah, another cheery reading...........

The arrival of the pale rider/death.  I have been pulling the death card very frequently when inquiring on an issue.

The Tower. After the Pale Rider claims his catch, a huge upheavel will take place. This is very common after a death. First and foremost, any child involved will be very upset and need special care. Secondly, the rats come out sniffing for scraps=relatives who think there is money involved. Well, no scraps are going to be tossed out for them, so go sniff elsewhere. Things will be disoriented and pressure will ensue, then a release as it sorts its self out, but only with great diligence.

Six Of Swords

Of course this card also looks sad, dangerous, however look closer. See the woman and her daughter? They are moving away from the bad situation, not towards it, and the strong ferryman is there to guide them safely to the other side to a new land in the distance, and angel is on the bow of the ship for guidance and blessings, for these two have been through so very much, and need the much desired peace.

My Card Private Deck on 9/9

9 of Cups

For the ninth month, the ninth day, I pull 9 of cups for myself in a one card reading. This is quite the card, for it usually means "sated" having it all, plenty, joyous occasion's, not really the way I felt yesterday considering the circumstances, so I will have to take it as the silver lining in the dark cloud of despair. Let's hope it brings a welcome positive energy, as recent events and others have tried to take back over and plunge all involved to their depths of negativity. I am in the fight of my life not to allow this person to try and destroy all I have worked to regain the last 2 years.

Three Card Reading

When I do a three card reading for a specific individual I have a few rules. One is that the deck is of course covered in silk and two, that it is the first thing I do upon rising, so no other influences of the day interfere. This is not a happy-feel-good reading, but as I am not surprised by it either. It is also a birthday reading for the person born today.

                                   Past            Present        Future

Past is the Queen of Pentacles

This person had a loving, nurturing accomplished woman in his life.  Queen of Pentacles is a "have it all" kind of gal, loves life, beauty, is usually sensual and caring.  She is in the past, you will never have her again.

Knight Of Swords

The present, Knight Of Swords, is pretty much what you see is what you get. He is bringing upheaval, news, mostly unpleasant, it will be sharp and stinging as he is a rough around the edges type of messenger. It will not be welcome news and the timing makes it worse.

Death

Well, no one gets out of this world "alive" so they say, and in rare cases the death card does mean a physical death. I believe the news the Knight bears hastens the arrival of the Pale Rider for this reading. I can't say this was a happy reading but honest, and as usual I am not surprised.

                                               Future                Present                    Past

3 Card Birthday Reading

Ok I am scan challenged, this is backwards in order as pictured so bear with me.

#1 Card is The Tower, representing your past. You know from previous readings the Tower is the "hit the fan" card, meaning a shake up in a situation that created change. Maybe the timing was not as you planned, but it had to happen for the next events to unfold.

#2 Card is The Chariot, representing your present. The warrior is plunged forward by the two mighty steeds into action.  This represents things moving forward and you have great assistance in these matters. Lots of action and energy associated with this card, a go with the flow sort of instance.

#3Two of Cups, representing your future.  Love, great lasting love in the future, peaceful kind love, for infinity symbols over their heads, and Leo/Lion/Strength/Eight Symbol for infinity as well. Their loving embrace says it all.

Happy birthday and I hope you enjoyed your reading, however since I know you so very well I am not surprised by your cards.

Three of Cups

I pulled the 3 of cups, 3 times, from 2 different decks.  So now that I am over myself and the angels of the Tarot are throughly exhausted with me I can write and reflect.

3 to me is always a great number. I never, even though I am a Libra dislike grouping two, four, etc. Its always 3, 5, 7 and so on. Love the old saying "there's luck in 3's"? The third time is a charm? Its also mentioned in the prayer "when 2 or more together" bringing a higher vibration to the prayer request.

These three ladies dancing in the moodlight, raises their cups in joy/celebration indicate a very positive card, an upswing in events.  They are indeed three muses, love, life, celebration, all good things flowing into one. They appear to not have a care in the world and are dancing in the lush garden of life.

This card usually is an omen of celebration, love, wealth, happiness, return of something or someone long lost to you.

Hearts

I was reminded today by a beautiful lesson on how tender our hearts become when we allow love to enter.

It is similar to the Fool tarot card since it is a true leap of faith to allow another in that sacred place.  We risk all by letting our guard down. Once hurt, maybe over and over again or even a single incident that was so deep we are scarred for life, it becomes more and more difficult to trust and allow another into that guarded palace of the soul.

We also are challenged by the needs of the body: shelter, food, security, the very basic necessities for living or chasing a "bigger carrot" that we forget that without love and someone to share life with its completely meaningless.

As a Libra I am striving for balance and the best possible out come. To walk in the sun and the sand without a hand to hold is indeed a lonely thing, no matter how lovely the view.

Ten of Pentacles

Ten of Pentacles

I didn't choose a traditional image for the ten of pentacles. I like the look and feel of this one as opposed to the Rider-Waite deck image.

I have pulled this card many times in the last month. As Nancy taught, the deck says when I ask over and over again "why don't you trust me" I have to agree. It is the almost too good to be true card. Financial success/windfall/lottery/inheritance. End of troubles. Happy family, secure children, loving couple that have it all. And a wise man thrown in to boot!

I like to think of the dragon over head as a guardian figure, "all who pass through this arch to the light are under my care and protection as I carefully watch over my charges".

I am sure the angels would slap me, oh ye of little faith, as I pray over my reading and keep getting this card.

My wheel has certainly moved forward this week in some very unexpected progress, so I will sit back and let the universe take charge.

Farewell Queen of Wands

It is with much sadness our much admired Queen of Wands aka Nancy Fenn has passed from the earthly plane.

Many of us know what a great teacher Nancy was, but she truly cared for others and was an amazing healer. During the lowest part of the economic downturn she headed up a huge master prayer group. She spent countless hours working the site.  We all listened to and encouraged each other. This was an exceptionally difficult time for me as my husband had tried to take his life, and between taking him to hospitals, doctors, I had little time for work to support us and was at a very low point. The care and healing I received got me through this terrible time.

Nancy then encouraged me to join her astrology class. She laughed and said "its not what you think, some wild eyed gypsy clawing a crystal ball" and she was so right. The history, the symbols, the math, amazing how the threads come together. Nancy had done my chart which has a perfect diamond or kite pattern, straight from moon to sun which she said is very very unusual and that I was going to be very good at this.

I am still learning from her now. Rest dear Nancy, your journey was very rough at the end. Peace to you dear Queen of Wands.

Thursday, May 16, 2013

Well May 16th two years ago was certainly the "death" of a situation.  I pulled this card twice in a row today. No one really likes the death card due to ominous feel of it. However, the pale rider means something usually very different, not death of the body. It is often then end of a job, relationship so you can move on in a positive direction. There is light behind the rider, meaning positive things to come.
Think of it as sort of a "spring cleaning" for mind, body and soul so you can progress towards a brighter and happier future.

The Lovers

Well I don't think rocket science is needed to depict this card. These two are in love/lust with each other and can't get enough of each other.

Their sexually energy is undeniable but comes from pure love otherwise it really isn't worth it. They are bound together through heaven and earth.

Good Friday & The Fool

I guess he depicts the way I feel today, and I pulled him 3 times so you know what that means, this is your card of the day like it or not.

He is supposed to be a positive card but he is a "zero" meaning is he the beginning of the tarot or the end? I am back to the beginning on an issue that has been in my life for about a year, and can relate to the fool. Some things I started need to be looked at and either abandoned and move on or take a different approach in order to feel complete. At least the fool has his little dog for company, this is the first time in my life that I don't have one and so wish I did.

The TOWER & Two of Cups

Well, well, well, surprised look on my face, its time for a "tower" incident!  An upheaval of sorts. This can take many forms, and no you really don't leap from a tower or a bridge. This card appears when there is an extreme change in circumstances, like job, position, location, marriage, divorce a real "its going to hit the fan" card. Remember, things have to explode and level off, sometimes there is no other way other than to be very blunt and just get it out there, get it over.

I pulled this card as a two part question, because I really wanted a good idea about the two tossed out of their ivory tower and their out come.

So I pulled The Two of Cups

This couple is deeply in love, see the roots that surround them? Meaning a deep undying love. There are bowers of roses at their feet, they toast each other in love, support and admiration and of course we know roses are the flowers of love. These two share everything with each other, I just want to tell them to "get a room" they are so in love. The winged lion hovering over them joins them in a blessing for eternity.

Lovely card for those in love.

Four Of Pentacles

Whew. Not sure I which way to go on this one. This card can mean extreme financial success and stability. However, it also appears to be coming from a person who is very controlling, over circumstances, money, they may be so tight with funds I could call them "Squeaky"......................
The person is sitting on money, has money in bags, and from the crossed arms not very generous with it either. There is turbulence behind them, perhaps from what they had to go through to achieve this goal of plenty, storm brewing, extreme turmoil, and they sit, complacent, not doing anything about it. I don't see them as having a lot of fun, only centered on generating money, compulsive/obsessive over it. Perhaps my guard is up as this reminds me too much of my first husband, extremely wealthy but never generous with family, but let him see a crazed idea for business and he would let the cash flood gates open causing much stress on the relationship. I would think this person has no clue how to really show love as he is so involved with the bottom line. He hurts the person who loves him with his detached emotions and is a miser at heart.  I guess he can sleep with his sacks of money and they will keep him warm at night.

King Of Swords

The King of Swords is similar to my reading of the Queen of Swords. He is usually in the legal profession and is a one man problem solver. Don't try to out wit him you won't win. He can be intimidating to most people he incounters. He is a wise ruler, straightforward, but can be a bit cold sometimes on a personal note which can cause some pain for some one who loves him. Interesting card for today, for as we know "let the angels of the deck speak to you" and pay attention to the message.

The Sun Card and the First Day of Spring

I can't think of a more appropriate card for the first day of Spring to pull than The Sun.  Everything on this card points to fresh starts, all things new, exuberance for living.

The new child rides in on a white horse, hands raised in joy, ready for anything. The Sun is shining on his shoulders and flowers galore.

This card reminds us its never to late for a "fresh start" which can be love, job, home, hobbies, things we used to love to do but slipped away from us? I am going to garden and hang my bird houses. Kara and I both have been "spring cleaning" throwing out more and more and making better use of space. So get out of that rut, it has not served you well, you are only used to it and it appears to be the path of least resistance when in fact, it is what has slowed you down and perhaps caused you great pain in more ways than one.

The card today is Strength

This little guy looks so much like my very own lion dog they could be twins. The lady allows her hand to be placed in the lions mouth, meaning extreme trust. The card is number 8 and the infinity symbol is over her head. This card represents balance and trust, your "gut" instinct to follow through and not to worry over bumps in the road. Stay on task the goal is in site.

Friday, February 22, 2013

Queen of Swords

I pulled her twice today, so the angels are saying "I said it, I meant it, get over your self doubt".

This woman is a no crap zone. She can cut to the chase, get to the answer, the heart of the matter.

When she appears she is very often the symbol for financial advancement, is a great advisor and is trustworthy.

Some may find her abrasive, I prefer the term "brutally honest". While you may not care for all her advice and findings, she is telling the truth without sugar coating it just to give you a false sense of security.

I was definitely the Queen of Swords today, as I gave consults to clients with sincere insight and was hired by all I spoke with.

The Ace of Pentacles

What a welcome card! The hand appears out of the clouds with the sign of the Pentacle, the grass is green, the path leads to a garden of plenty through a beautiful archway.

This card symbolises wealth, great job creation, pay raise, huge improvement in finances and general well being, abundance of all good things.

Something has been presented to you that will change your future for the "brighter/better".

I know a few deserving people who need this upswing in their lives and was thinking of them when I pulled it.

Monday, February 18, 2013

The Star

Today I pulled the Star.
This lovely card reflects peace and love. She is naked, vulnerable to the world, no armor to protect her from harm. Today we would call that "really putting your self out there".

The eight stars over her head represent infinite love, 8=infinity. She pours from the two vessels into the tidal pool, which also resembles the temperance card, a binding of peace, love and plenty to replenish ones soul.

The bird, a white dove reminds us that we reside half way between Heaven & Earth when we allow our selves to release to the dream state and be open to receive the messages that are trying to flow to us as gentle guidance.

Valentines Day Reading

I pulled a great card today for lovers. The Ten of Cups!

This card shows a loving couple with their arms around each other, a rain bow is over their heads, flowing water, children dancing, as they appear to be overseaing their lovely home and surrounding property. The card pretty much speaks for itself, love and abundance.

I am thinking more and more along the lines of what serves us best. Those of you who know me in real life know I had the huge home and trappings with out the love. I believe we can have it all if both are willing to take a risk. When I die I don't want to look back and say it was life without love.

You can always buy or build another house, you can't buy true love. There is no price tag on it.

Wednesday, February 13, 2013

The Fool

The Fool sets off on adventure, appears not to have a care in the world. His toe is poised out into the world, the sun on his shoulder, his little faithful dog, reminding us to have faith, a red rose for pure true love to find its way.

He is not "foolish" but taking a leap of faith, relying on his instincts, and with child like wonder seeks love and happiness.

Saturday, February 9, 2013

Queen of Pentacles

Doesn't exactly match my mood first thing on Saturday morning after running for others all week and now have to do it even on my "day off" sigh.

However I did have a money/abundance dream last night, the last thing I was dreaming before I woke up so maybe I should buy a lottery ticket while I am out.

The queen of pentacles is very loving, nurturing, do-for-others kind of woman.  She is generous to a fault, perhaps spoiling others so much that they expect it.  She also knows how to "make a silk purse out of a sows ear" meaning she can look in the fridge, pantry  and freezer and still make an elegant meal on short notice (while I prefer not to scrounge).

She represents warmth and abundance and is comfortable in her own skin.

Sunday, February 3, 2013

9 of Wands

I pulled this card twice in a row while thinking of someone who is going on a new business venture. As I said before, when you pull a card twice in a row don't fight it.

This man is leaving a situation, a job, or relationship behind. He has had quite a struggle but is determined to get where he wants to be and will be victorious.

He has left the opposition behind him and forges forward and has plenty of strength and resolve to see it to fruition. He won't take "no" for an answer.

Nine of Pentacles

This lady appears to have it all. Beauty and charm, so charming her pet bird rests on her delicate wrist.

She is standing in front of a grape bower, covered in pentacles, appears to be a money bush :).

Lets hope so, this card appears to be all about charm and abundance.

Friday, February 1, 2013

Queen of Cups

This lovely intuitive lady resides half way between heaven and earth and allows the angels to whisper to her giving kind guidance to those she cares for. She has deep love for the King of her heart.

Water and shells are prominent in this card, the vast rhythm of the ocean and its healing power, its formula of salt/water the same as what runs in our own veins.

Shells form as a matter of protection, however we shed these as we grow and allow some of life's lesson's in we are most vulnerable. Let love in before you allow your shell to harden once more.

Friday, January 25, 2013

Ten of Pentacles

Well, when you pull the card twice in a row, the angels that guard the deck are really trying to tell you something and to trust.

Ten of Pentacles, a lovely card, man and woman with love and abundance, dogs to represent loyalty, children for new beginnings, surrounded by wisdom, all the elements for a happy life especially for those who use lifes lessons, learn from mistakes so we don't make them again and have a pure faith for true love to find them.

Thursday, January 24, 2013

The Fool

We see the fool stepping off on a great journey, with little in his possesion, just a red rose for luck/love and his little dog happy to be by his side.

This card does not mean a person is a "fool" or foolish, it depicts a leap of faith, to go with that instict, to let go and let God guide.

When this cards appears take note of opportunites that you may have over looked, change up your energy, make things move forward.

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Ace of Wands

The wand comes out of the clouds, clarity, new beginnings. Time to "ace" it, like a test or project!

I have several in progress including myself :)

Tuesday, January 22, 2013

Seven Of Pentacles

We see a man standing back and looking at a flourishing bush covered in Pentacles.  This is a man who is growing something, building a business, making a future.

He has set the seeds/plan in motion, now is time to let the universe guide and let the fruits ripen.

When this card appears you are on your path, letting the motion move forward.

Tarot Card today: The Sun

Delighted then The Sun card appears.  New year, new beginnings, and seeing goals come to fruition.  Don't let others steal your Sun, your happiness. Those who try are miserable and seething inside. Let their frustration slide off and never effect you.

The Sun is a lovely card for those in love, cherish this person and be glad for the gift they are to you in your life.
