Guarding My Eggs

Lucky is one up on the Easter Bunny, guarding the eggs before I even get them out of the bag, the crackle of plastic is a big deal around here and The Mighty Fagin is in the background, those beady eyes making sure he is missing nothing!

Dream Diary

I am starting to write down more of the vivid dreams. Last dream was about being with a group and a spirit announced itself, which I proceeded to give it details of how to get home, and sang??? a song to describe how to get there. If you ever heard me sing you would know that my voice alone would make a room vacant! At any rate I think I have some good ones to use as art material, so let me get busy. My child & I had fun painting on my mermaid costumed pic today.

Working Hard for the Money

Ace of Wands

My card today was Ace of wands, the first card after the picture posted. The next day 6 of wands. I am so due for improvments in my situation so it seems the angels are sending me a message of hope.

I am having a wonderful card study. I can't help but see the example of "Wands" in my hibiscus that I cut back. They did look more like the illustration a week or two ago, but have responded to the addition of fresh soil, more water and more sunlight.

Blooms & Boxes

Found more blooms, daffodils from across the street and ruffled hibiscus in my own office! The suitcase box safely houses my cards and a few special items.

Recycling Project for Candles

I hated to throw out my Christmas gift candles, the scent was so wonderful, but that last inch or two won't burn. I save little glasses here and there from other candle sets. Simply melt the wax by placing the jar in a low simmer of water. I used a glue gun to set wicks which I leave long during the process for better control. I poured these in two layers, cilantro pineapple and sugar cookie on top. Trim wicks and save those for more candles. Flowers from DD's next door add to the beauty of the table this evening.

My tree purchased last year during tough time survived with lots of support from my prayer group & prayer buddy M. Tree is surviving and so am I.

False Spring?

We spring forward today which means setting the clocks ahead one hour, so everyone will off an hour for quite awhile. Some states don't have the daylight savings silly thing (my opinion) to create even more havoc. And the moon phase on Monday should add up to a strange salsa of events. I have put the lettuce outside as it can take a bite of cold should the temps creep back down, but my hibiscus are still waiting. I almost lost one putting it out too early and don't wish to visit a repeat. l

Here are my new cards, its easier to see the beauty of them I can show in a photo, they are so beautiful but a bit different than the tradtional, and I am understanding them but need both sets for class, so maybe I jumped a bit ahead of myself.

Card hunt

I am off to find a deck of Tarot cards that speaks to me. Will post what I find later. Also in need of art supplies, and lunch with Mother so a much needed break from daily duties is to be had.
