New Years Eve 2009 & Blue Moon Blessings

In 1999 I was pregnant and waiting for the last few weeks before she arrived. Many people thought the world would end due to the computer mess that never happened. It has been a different decade, the best part of course becoming a mother for the first time. I traded alot of things for peace and living where I always was/am the happiest. Thanks to those who prayed with me for things to turn around. We are staying in to celebrate with nice organic produce (yes there is a difference) & fresh seafood.

New Years Eve 2009 & Blue Moon

The end of an interesting year and decade. Ten years ago in 1999 I was pregnant and waiting for the baby, & many idiots thought the world would end because the "computers" didn't know how to switch over, causing widespread panic, hoarding, people moving to secluded areas. Business is picking up thanks to Prayers (thanks for those who prayed with me!!) and hard work with positive results. Many who thought they were set for life learned a hard lesson and the playing field is level again. My family can watch me smudge the house and "do my thing" thank God they see all this as normal. God bless my family, friends and the works of my mind and body.

Winter Garden & Goodbye Orient Express

Here is one of my indoor gardens that I must have in cold months. I have bamboo growing in the office and trees in the back office window along with herbs, which I plan to plant fresh over the weekend. The Orient Express was closed for good today. I had a hope of making that romantic train trip. I predict someone will buy it, restore it and elegance and glamour in traveling will prevail!

Sadly, The Woman ties in from the Dream

In the dream I see her, she looks like she is sleeping and she has long, straight honey blonde hair parted in the middle. She is young. They found a young woman beside the road who looks just like the one in the dream. Her life had been taken from her. I watched the news but no tie in to the golden lab yet.

Dinner & Aroma Therapy

Well dinner landed so I don't need plan B. I took the worlds hotest steam bath with lavendar and oils and feel quite a bit better. I am going to smudge the house on 31st which I think is a good time for "out with the old negative energy" and in with postive vibes. Need to get to the supplies store next week, only after the "exchange rush" is over. Welcome Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve at Last

Christmas Eve and I have a cold. No energy. I am taking vitamins and working slowly. The main entree for tomorrow is somewhere on a delivery truck but I have backup plans. I had a very stressfull but success! for a client who would have lost their down payment on a new home, and it took all my energy but we won.

Christmas gift to the little school

I added to the story wall today, as my gift to the children for Christmas. It is an "activity Sea Ray" with a teacher steering it with seaweed and the class is riding on the back off on a field trip. It was an honor to do it for them. They were very excited to see the new addition.

The Dreams have started again..........

I have suppressed them for years but they are back. I dream a vivid dream and the next day its on the news. A couple of nights ago I "saw" a man, who had passed, lying on the ground with facial hair, in the State Park near my home. There was a tie in some how to a woman with long blonde hair and she had a golden lab, because in the dream the dog comes to her and rests its head on her shoulder. The news last night: body found in state park, and today: mans body, and they said he had facial hair. I'll let you know if the woman and the dog tie in at some point.

Lovely Gift from M! and working at Sterling Cooper

I had such a beautifull surprise arrive from Canada today from MM!! My friends have such beautiful taste. I can't wait to wear these magical earrings. Here they are pictured under the "girlfriend tree". I just quit early, so I am trying to get some Christmas things done, and in the spririt of working at Sterling Cooper (Mad Men!) I opened a Pinot Noir to celebrate such a lovely gift. I am slow starting, I have the tree up with pink and white lights, snow globe collection and my victorian arrangment from DDB out.

Time to Decorate?

I am so behind, got ill over the weekend and still tire easily but the tree has arrived and I hope the needles stick on this one. A couple of years ago my assistant threw out her tree after Christmas and it was almost summer, and STILL full of needles.......go figure!

Art and Out of Body

While I no way compare myself to this particular artist, I was amazed at some similar facets in our life, close in age and birth date, but vivid dreaming, out of body experiences, detailed dreams you remember for ever. At any rate, he describes his dreams as lovely as he paints, and I did see some resemblance in his older body of work with one or two of mine. I am not feeling very well and have not been creative. Maybe some Christmas spirit will enter soon and take over, I hope so.

Dottie the Model

You have to be carefull around here or someone will dress you funny and take your picture. Dot Dot and her brother Dash were left in a box in front of the grocery store so of course, we took them home (after going back in for puppy food).

Tis The Season!

Time to brush off those Christmas decorations, and get invintive when money is tight! I am putting the girlfriend tree up first, maybe as early as tonight in my office window. The tree is covered with ornaments, many of them handmade or given to me by girlfriends. Also shopping later for the homeless shelter, we are making bags of toiletries, and we have a box going to a soildier in Iraq. He is a client and seems not to really have any family.

Mr. Fish Goes to School

An art project has to go to school tomorrow, so off goes Mr. Fish.

He is acrylic with opaque sequins attached, but we are using a new glue, so what falls off, I told her to leave and call it fish scales!

The Story Wall

This is a long wall that will be covered like a story board. I added a new element today but didn't take a photo as the details are not in place. This is the first teacher mermaid, reading to her class as they settle down in their "clam beds". She has real crystals in her hair and on her tail and yes, I use a special glue so no child has been able to pry one off yet!

Here is the hallway I painted for the elementary school. The children love the bright colors. I love to go back and add elements to the painting and here them say "hey, that wasn't there before!"

Going to the little school to paint

I need to recharge my batteries, so I'm off tomorrow, to work on a wall at least 30+ feet long, and will be tired, but will post some progress.

I call these conversation fish. This is the second mural I did at the school. It is next to the speech teachers room. All the fish look like they are watching the students go by and have something to say.

A Walk to the Beach

I have to pity anyone who wasn't here, outside today. I walked down to the ocean, the shrimp boats were busy, streets are quiet, no sweater required!

I might have to use the grill, it feels almost like a mild summer day.

Out of the Box!!!

My dear friend DDB sends me her plants each fall so I have new additions every year. We laugh at the state they arrive in thanks to the shipper, the one pictured was flattened, however I was told if taken care of they can live to be over 50+ years old, and this one has recovered nicely. The flower hibiscus tree featured early was a barren branch that lives on as well!

My husband is hard to work with when it comes to photos so this is the best I can come up with!

The white is the Jelly fish Queen and of course, the other, my natural self, broom rider!!

I "found" Nemo

I painted this last year out by the pool listening to classical music. It is painted in many layers to get the desired effects.
I love the colours, so happy.

Hibernate, hide and organize

I did not paint this lady but she depicts the way I hope I feel the rest of the week, justice and warrior.

I am going to turn in early but doubt that I will rest. I plan on reading Napoleon Hill and doing some needle point. I have to keep my mind busy, yet rested, and let good things flow in. Peace on earth and the crescent moon is shining. So beautiful.

Bad Shock this Morning

I could not sleep and saw my husband coming down the hall. I spoke to him to see if he needed anything, medicine, etc. He asked me what place this was and did he live here. He did not know me, who I was, my name, anything. I asked him his daughters name and he could not tell me. He looked at my bed and asked if it was his, and I told him sure, he could sleep there.

It took him a couple of hours and much prompting, he remembered his daughters name, the cats name and finally said I was his wife, but did not say my name.

This is "me" my natal chart. The pattern of my life? It is a perfect diamond. Very unusual. I have only seen one other like it, a very high profile spiritual person's.

Perfect Weather

The most glorious of days, cool at night, the window open, perfect sunny skies so we took our dogs Dot and Dash (rescue dogs) for a ride to the lake and back.
Sometimes I make more business by stepping away from the desk and letting go.

Today I write in the colour purple. I am trying to let the universe guide me as I feel roadblocks and communication errors much like a mercury retrograde. Dear God, Saints and Spirit Guides, let me let go and allow you to lead.

A New Way of Being

Today I start a new way of being. I want to be comfortable in my own skin. While I will continue to be kind in my remarks, I am going to be more direct for the sake of my own personal time and to determine who and why I spend my time with. While the blog is free, my business time should be treated as such. Money in the hands of a good person is a great power. With money you can help others. I want to be back in the position I was just a few years ago to not have to hesitate to help others and not be held up by money. This is my begining mission statement.
