Here is a mini tour of whats growing in our yard. Note the little peach tree from only last year, loaded with fruit and a white Iris, courtesy of my late Dad, who had a great love of flowers. Miss you Daddy!

Perking up a Planter

Far from done, I added petunias and a solar light to these twin platters on D's porch. I love her and hope she likes it.

Backyard Beauty Sample

We had the Azalea festival this weekend down town, a time when we tour gardens, have a parade, and girls dress "Gone with The Wind" style. Lots of women in bright floral dresses and of course big garden hats. Here is a sample of the beauties growing in the yard. More to come!

State Park Bike Ride

The one time I left my camera behind.......lovely bike ride to state park, mini picnic and walked along the river shore line. Glad to see lots of shell fish growing, which is good for the enviornment. Tons of tiny razor clams and clusters of oysters and what appeared to be black mussels washed up from the high tide. Great workout and perfect weather. There was swamp on one area of the road and we do have the occassional aligator but not today.

Techno Kids

Ms. K is in her part of the office, she has more gadgets than I do. At her age I didn't even know what a computer was.

April Fools

Most of what we thought to be coming into April is the opposite. The Topsey Turveys are out and about!
