Snow Ice and the Jimmy Hoffa Suite

The bad weather is inland but cold here, down to 11 degrees last night. The kids are bored so they are cleaning The Jimmy Hoffa suite (playroom, dark, no windows) and making it into a disco. I am going to sit by the fireplace, warm up and start my painting. Stay warm!

Off to School

Well I am off to school to paint in the special needs class. I looked at the walls yesterday (this room has no windows) and will really have to get creative as it is crammed with desks and shelves.......however this teacher needs and has requested a painting, she needs a "window" so I am thinking of putting her a garden on the wall.............

Sunny Bike Ride!!

I hope M is enjoying the sun and the islands!!! I took advantage of our own nice weather to take my bike out to run an errand. It seemed like anyone who could be out doing something was, taking advantage of 67 degrees, sunny with no wind in January. Seeing the smiles was good karma.

Earthquake?

Well, we did have a couple more, one in Oklahoma and now one in Venezuela, where my brother in law a scientists, is from and has family there.

Eclipse Lasting 11 minutes

Ok there's the 11 thing again, the longest eclipse since 1992. Someone (not me) is predicting activity (earthquake/sunami) at Yeman, Malaysia & Vietnam. I hope they are wrong. I have candles and prayers going for the people of Haiti.......
